A revenge game occurs when a player faces an opponent they historically play more physically against. Our tool identifies players who throw significantly more HITS against specific teams - perfect for streaming in banger leagues where hitting stats count.

The Hits Score uses z-scores to measure how much a player's hits against a specific opponent exceed their career average. A score of 2.0+ means they throw 2 standard deviations more hits than usual - that's elite revenge territory.

We require at least 3 games against an opponent to flag a revenge matchup. This ensures the data reflects real tendencies rather than one fluky physical game.

Elite (🔥): Score 2.5+ — Player goes absolutely wild with hits against this opponent. Strong (⚡): Score 1.5-2.5 — Significantly elevated hitting, very reliable bump. Mild (📈): Score 1.0-1.5 — Noticeable improvement, worth considering for streaming.

In banger leagues where HITs are scored, target players with upcoming revenge matchups for streaming. Pick up players facing their revenge teams when you need hits - the historical data suggests they'll outperform their usual hitting output.

Revenge profiles are recalculated using 9 seasons of historical data. The upcoming schedule matches are checked hourly. Historical patterns are stable, so the revenge matchups don't change frequently.

We use the player's current team to identify upcoming games. Historical data from their time on other teams is still included since it reflects player-vs-team hitting patterns regardless of which jersey they wore.
